1. Status and scope
These are proposed terms for BrandLinc’s website and installed web app. The legal operator, business address, support contact and effective date must be confirmed before these become launch terms. Preview screens use illustrative content and do not create a paid subscription.
2. Your account
Subscriber accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older who can enter an agreement, including authorised representatives of businesses. Provide accurate account details, verify your email and keep your credentials secure. Do not impersonate another person, share access irresponsibly or access accounts without permission. A security-reporting contact must be published before launch.
3. What BrandLinc provides
BrandLinc provides a profile and portfolio editor, public profile hosting, sharing tools, activity analytics and a way to request separately scoped studio services. Feature availability depends on your account, service configuration, browser and internet access. Installing the web app adds a home-screen entry; it does not create a separate account or make workspace editing available offline.
Analytics are estimates based on recorded events. They do not guarantee followers, sales, enquiries, bookings or any business outcome. Sample metrics and sample profiles are illustrations.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in content you upload. To operate the service, you give BrandLinc a non-exclusive permission to store, resize, display and transmit that content as needed to provide your selected features, including public display when you publish. This permission is limited to operating and supporting the service and necessary retention obligations; it does not transfer ownership.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and permissions of your images, testimonials, contact information and other content. Obtain the rights needed from copyright owners and people whose information you publish. BrandLinc’s branding and software remain the property of their respective owners.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use BrandLinc for unlawful activity, scams, impersonation, harassment, malicious software, infringement, unauthorised disclosure of private information or attempts to compromise the service. Do not manipulate analytics, evade access controls or disrupt other users. A content-reporting and review process must be established before launch.
6. Public profiles and external services
Review your page before publishing. Visitors may copy or share public content. Removing or pausing a page cannot remove copies held elsewhere. External social, email and messaging services have their own terms. Profile owners are responsible for their own dealings with visitors and customers; a contact click does not make BrandLinc a party to their transaction.
7. Pricing and studio work
The website displays a planned R149 monthly membership. Billing is not active, and signup or app installation does not currently authorise a charge. Before any paid plan begins, the total price, taxes where applicable, payment cycle, renewal, cancellation and refund terms must be disclosed and agreed through a separate checkout.
Studio services are quoted separately. Sending a request does not accept a quote or create a payment obligation. Scope, deliverables, usage rights, timelines and payment terms must be agreed before commissioned work starts. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.
8. Availability, suspension and ending use
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or permanent availability of every feature. We may restrict content or accounts to address credible security risks, unlawful conduct or serious misuse, with notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where reasonable and lawful. A support and appeal route must be available at launch.
You can pause your public page and export selected account records in Settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a future subscription or delete server records. Account closure, deletion and paid-plan cancellation procedures must be finalised before launch.
9. Responsibility and applicable law
Use reasonable care to retain your own originals and verify information before relying on it. Nothing in these proposed terms excludes liability or limits remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and privacy rights. South African law is the proposed governing law, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that apply to you. The final operator and dispute-resolution details require legal review.
10. Privacy and updates
Read the Privacy Policy for information processing and the Data & Compliance page for implementation status. Updated terms will carry a version date. Material changes and any required acceptance process must be communicated appropriately before they apply.
